My day in Glasgow, a few years ago, was with my college-aged daughter, visiting her friend who was a student at the Royal Scottish Academy of Killin’ My Liver While Floeating The River shirtand Drama (now named The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland). So we did all young-people stuff. But I’ll add this to my list for our next trip. We have friends who live in Edinburgh, so we’re sure to get back there every 3-4 years. One of our favorite discoveries came when we were traveling by train from Vienna to Salzburg. We had decided to get off the Killin’ My Liver While Floeating The River shirtin Linz and eat Linzer Torte (recommend doing this too!) at the establishment that had created it (as we had eaten Sachertorte in the place it was invented in Vienna) It was an awesome city w/ a big beautiful town square with a plague memorial, lots of fun public art (big ants crawling up a church that was being restored for instance), and an amazing museum
