We had 4 teenage girls plus Mom in the Books before boys because Daddy said no shirt and we all got visited at the same time. Dad would go to the drug store and buy the giant box of 48 pads. Back then they wrapped them in brown paper when you bought them. Our little brother got upset once and wanted to know why we were always getting presents.

Had 2 sisters and 2 brothers growing up. It was pretty bad when all our schedule’s synched up. Now as a mom, we have 4 boys, so there’s just me. I ran out one time years ago and Books before boys because Daddy said no shirt had to send hubby to the store. He didn’t mind but having to describe which kind I liked was a little exasperating. Maybe subconscious brain said. Never gonna do that again. Glad Costco sells organyx brand supplies now. Will probably have enough til menopause

I was like you from age twelve to age fifty and it got worse every year. I had to use the big nighttime pads for 5 days and smaller pads for Books before boys because Daddy said no shirt. Relief came at age fifty when I got a hysterectomy. Best surgery I ever had although now I have to wear depends pads for incontenence. A present most women get after having a hysterectomy. I’m 64 now so have used pads 52 years. Wonder how many trees or cotton plants I’ve used so far. A forest or field’s worth.
