I’m not saying Matt Kenseth sucks but I do think that he’s past his prime and he’ll hopefully find another team but Eric Jones is going to do much better in that 20 Erik Jones Shirt. Because Kenseth isn’t doing anything for it right now and besides how much longer is Kenseth going to be doing this. You think Joe Gibbs is going to let Eric Jones walk or signed a long-term deal with Furniture Row when Kenseth could retire in two or three years.

I just think they should have announce it differently. Yes its business. But if Matt wasn’t coming back announce it at the beginning of the 20 Erik Jones Shirt. Or extend his contract, he clearly still has a lot of racing on him. More than a lot of other drivers. I know Jones was on a 1 year contract but if furniture row and JGR work together he could have stay there another year. I just continue to question the way JGR is doing things, first Carl, now Matt.
