A big thank you to ugly dog transport for the Ugly Dog Xmas Shirt of the freight for a very large amount of reinforcing steel for the swing bridge…and we didn’t even ask. A wonderful surprise and so appreciated. The island has many businesses who continually support our community and ugly Dog is one of the best. Many thanks, Luke and Darky. The construction of the swing bridge is getting close now. Hopefully, it will start before Xmas and be completed by February. We will keep you posted.

Over the past few months, I have been working towards developing an initiative that can engage with photography and Ugly Dog Xmas Shirt through continued workshops, residencies, artist talks and pop up photo-book reading rooms. This has brought about Offset Projects, a moving pitara of photography, books, and bookmaking. The offset is extremely happy to also announce its first workshop on book-making, From the Theory to the Book with my friend from her city. The 6-day workshop will be held in Goa, India for photographers who are working on a long-term photographic project to be made into a book format.
