Although this nightmare occurred in 1980 I rememeber it as if it were last night, and as well as being work related is certainly the worst nightmare I have ever had. At that time I was a title civil engineer acting as the water utility’s resident engineer supervising a sewerage project in a town centre. The new sewer was constructed as a 1.5 metre diameter tunnel beneath the buildings of the town centre, and required the use of explosives to blast out the rock in the tunnel face. The project was quite challenging for me at the time, but it was completed successfully in the end. I had this nightmare at some time in the middle of the project. It began with me arriving on the site to see how the project was progressing, but I was horrified to discover that the contractors must have somehow used too much explosive, and now all of the buildings in the town centre had been reduced to just heaps of rubble. I contacted my boss, and when he appeared he too was so horrified that he just wired himself up to some of the contractor’s explosives and blew himself to bits !

I work as a title. These days, my regular day at work mostly entails predicting the future, which is known as clairvoyance. People are especially fond of that as they have an urge to know if they will have a stable life and a pleasant future. It’s mostly predictions such as telling clients if they will get the job they want, or if their crush will fall in love with them. This is one of the comparably easiest jobs for psychics to have, as clients know no better then we do what tomorrow will bring. I started off as a minor neighborhood practitioner, and recently I have taken to TV and radio. Initially, the job seemed quite interesting, there was a lot of thrill and excitement about it. I was filled with enthusiasm and felt energetic when I was working, but my expectations hit a blockade called reality. It’s not the job per se that is boring, but the clientele which I’m getting. They’re all very simple-minded, poorly educated, unfunny and all around unintelligent people. My work does not only include flipping tarot cards, the social aspect of it is also very important.
