The Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Torch Relay reaches a cultural milestone today, Tuesday, January 27, as the flame arrives in Bolzano. After a commemorative stop in Cortina d’Ampezzo to mark 70 years since the 1956 Games, the torch was carried through the Upper Val Pusteria this morning, including a symbolic ascent to the summit of Mt. Plan de Corones. This evening, a massive “Crossroads of Cultures” celebration is scheduled for Piazza Walther at 7:30 PM, uniting the Alpine communities of South Tyrol with the urban heart of Italy ahead of the February 6 Opening Ceremony.
