Drew house T-Shirt

I’m in my last semester of Drew house T-Shirt school and I am TERRIFIED of being eaten alive especially because I am young (20 years old). I feel like my patients have a hard time opening up to me because how can a 20-year-old have any experience. I want to be the best nurse that I possibly can and I know I have awesome skills, but I am so very worried about being so inexperienced and young.

I was so worried about the “nurses eat their young” thing, but my best friend (also a nurse) assured me that if I was on a unit like that, I should not accept it and needed to go some place else. Fortunately, my practicum was on an amazing unit with wonderful nurses who were happy to teach me and work side by side with me. I am even happier to say that I was hired to the Drew house T-Shirt  unit!
