I’m not posting this for attention, but posting it so other people can learn a lesson and possibly learn to be a better person. I was hungry, so I went to Whataburger. Now, I’m not crazy tight on funds but still. I had actually paid my food with a gift card, so I wouldn’t have to use my actual debit card.

I go sit down and wait patiently. I get my order and see this older man walk in. He has a long white beard, torn sweater, heavy and Achmed you laugh I laugh you cry I cry you take my Whataburger I kill shirt and a few bags of clothes. I continue to eat my food and I see that he walks towards the register. He looks up at the menu and then moves back and pulls out a dollar bill and a bunch of change. He starts separating the quarter, nickels, pennies and dimes.

I notice that he only had about 3 dollars, so I went up and told him that I knew it wasn’t a lot, but he could have the Achmed you laugh I laugh you cry I cry you take my Whataburger I kill shirt. The man smiled and said he was so thankful. I told him it wasn’t a problem and although I know I could seriously use those few bucks. It broke my heart to see someone in that position. We take so many things for granted and never know when and/or if we will ever be in that position. I believe good things happen to good people and I pray that if I’m ever in that position.
