Wizards Unveil Packed Promo Lineup for New Season, Including First-Ever “Hoops and Hounds” Night
The new NBA season is nearly here, and the Washington Wizards are giving fans plenty of reasons to circle dates on the calendar. Alongside a fresh roster and big matchups at Capital One Arena, the team has revealed a full slate of promotional giveaways and themed nights designed to keep the energy high in D.C. all year long.
Giveaways Worth Lining Up For
The festivities start immediately on Opening Night, October 24, when every fan in attendance for the showdown with the Boston Celtics will receive a “For the District” T-shirt, courtesy of Capital One.
The beloved Player Hat Series also returns for a third year, this time with designs created by rookie Alex Sarr (Nov. 26), Jordan Poole (Dec. 30), and Bilal Coulibaly (Jan. 7). Each hat will be available to the first 10,000 fans through the gates.

- Jan. 1: Space Jam-themed Corey Kispert bobblehead
- Feb. 10: French-inspired double bobblehead featuring Bilal Coulibaly and Alex Sarr
- Nov. 22: Emirates NBA Cup rally towel
- Dec. 5: City Edition T-shirt
- Dec. 19: Wizards quilted bucket hat
- Feb. 24: Reversible baseball jersey
- Mar. 31: Beach bag
- Apr. 9: Fan Appreciation Night T-shirt
All giveaways are limited to the first 10,000 fans (dates and items subject to change).
Theme Nights With a Twist
This season also brings some new and creative theme nights. Most notably, the Wizards will host their first-ever “Hoops and Hounds Night” on January 5, when fans are invited to bring their dogs to watch the matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans — a first in franchise history.
And for those who prefer magic to mascots, the team has something enchanting in store: Harry Potter Night on April 3. The first 5,000 fans will take home an exclusive Wizards x Harry Potter scarf to commemorate the evening.
