The Tampa Bay Rays are opening their doors—and their storage closets—for a one-of-a-kind charity event. Ahead of planned repairs at Tropicana Field, the Rays will host a Pre-Construction Charity Yard Sale on Saturday, May 31, in Lot 7 of the stadium. Fans can browse thousands of items previously stored in the ballpark, with proceeds benefiting the Rays Baseball Foundation.
The sale will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a dedicated shopping hour for Rays Season Members from 10-11 a.m. Parking is available in adjacent Lot 6. Attendees can grab a $20 fill-a-bag deal to stock up on some of the more than 75,000 items up for grabs.
The inventory is a treasure trove for baseball fans, including:
- Bobbleheads
- Rays hats, shirts, and other apparel
- Past promotional giveaways
- Rays-themed drinkware
The event promises family-friendly fun beyond shopping, featuring face painters, a DJ, balloon twisters, and free hot dogs for fans with proof of purchase while supplies last.
This year, the Rays are also spicing up the summer season with two new offerings:
- Summer 3-Pack: For $99, fans can select any three home games in June or July, each including a parking pass.
- Kids Cheer Free Weekend: From June 6-8 against the Miami Marlins, parents can bring up to two children 14 and under for free with a purchased adult ticket.
