The Portland Trail Blazers are stepping onto the hardwood this fall with a fresh look—one that blends tradition with a modern, stripped-down style.

On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, the franchise unveiled its Association Edition and Icon Edition uniforms for the upcoming season. While the classic diagonal striping across the torso remains, the design has been simplified to just two bold stripes. The silver stripe that once split the chest is gone, as is the contrasting trim that used to run along the collar and sleeves.

The result? A cleaner, more refined presentation of one of the NBA’s most recognizable looks.

Honoring the Past, Refining the Present

On the white Association Edition jersey, “Blazers” is emblazoned across the chest, bisected by one red stripe and one black stripe. The black Icon Edition flips the palette, with “Portland” across the front and a striking red-and-white stripe cutting through the middle.

The shorts feature another nod to tradition: “Rip City” stitched along the waistband, a salute to the team’s devoted fan base and the nickname that has become synonymous with Portland basketball.

A Look That Endures

By trimming away the silver and extra accents, the Blazers have sharpened the identity of their on-court look while keeping the elements that make it instantly recognizable. It’s a subtle update, but one that signals a modern direction without erasing the franchise’s long-standing aesthetic.

When Shaedon Sharpe, Toumani Camara, and the rest of Portland’s roster take the court in the fall, they’ll be wearing uniforms designed not just for style, but for legacy.

The Blazers may have streamlined their jerseys—but the message stitched into them remains bold: Rip City, front and center.
