I agree with others who say overestimating your ability. To ride safely you need a lot of humility to the bike’s power and your vulnerability. Like swimming in the ocean with rip tides. I have, sadly, witnessed a death. It was devastating. Happened just this fall & I was behind him on my motorbike. Young guy just beginning his life. No riding gear—just a helmet and one of those thin Never Underestimate a Nurse Who Loves the Eagles T Shirt you see people wearing at the stadium. Full throttle take off from a stoplight. I only saw the start and the end but it was brutal. Stay safe folks. It doesn’t have to be your mistake.

Obviously some episodes are dated now. But others? still relevant today. lose your car? well, maybe when you park in a mall parking lot, that’s dated, malls dying now, but still, I go to a sporting event, I hear people beeping the car horns trying to find it because some people don’t bother remembering where they park. sporting events, airport parking lots, etc. yeah, what they are carrying while searching would change (goldfish, air conditioning unit), but replace with luggage or Never Underestimate a Nurse Who Loves the Eagles T Shirt… waiting in line for a restaurant? possibly, especially if the restaurant is popular enough that you can’t grubhub/doordash order from it (soup nazi, chinese restaurant) master of my domain or hospital rooms or christmas holidays? the same. And while some things may no longer be true, can easily write similar episodes on things like late grubhub deliveries, fake messages from ‘asian’ women, obvious AI car crash videos (where cars crash but not suffer damage), wild animals helping people or soliciting help for offspring or other animals (fake). But job losses, overbearing parents, hospitals, etc.? still relevant. I just have to make up new scenarios, otherwise… Seinfeld did it (thinking ‘simpsons did it’ on a south park episode).
()Whenever I see stats like this, it’s always sobering to imagine what being a pats fan was like before the year 2000. 1994 is the first real cutoff, when Kraft first bought the team. We might have not won any Superbowls before 2001 but there was a dramatic turnaround after 1994 where we made a Super Bowl and were a Never Underestimate a Nurse Who Loves the Eagles T Shirt to make the playoffs every year. The team finally felt fun to cheer for every year. Before that… not so much fun. We were ok for a few years in the 80s and fluked into a Super Bowl we had no business being in (and were promptly murdered by the Bears) but other than that… was pretty rough haha.
