Assuming 3 plays per minute, that is 2,880 plays in high school. College. 3 years at 12 games per year, again accounting for injuries, extra games, and a lot of good NFL players don’t play 4 years in college. Some only play 2. Split TOP, 30 minutes x 36 games = 1,080 minutes. Assuming 3 plays per minute, we have 3,240 plays in college. This means that when an NFL player first gets to the league, they will likely have worn their My Heart Belongs to the Steelers Iowa Pride T Shirt for more hours in high school than they have logged official gameplay minutes. 2,328 minutes of official gameplay. AI exec here – 15 yrs in banking. I don’t know which specific solution he is referring to, but it’s not that easy to replace people with AI. Trading, portfolio management, sales and client relationship management are not easily outsourced. However, many back office functions can be replaced: it will take 3 to 5 years before we see significant contractions, but I do believe there will be a recession next year and firms will hold off hiring new people, instead investing in means to automate as many jobs as possible.
