The only reason Brady even had a chance to win the game was because Atlanta CHOKED horribly. They were up 19 points at the start of the fourth quarter. 19 points in football is A MASSIVE LEAD for one quarter of time, and Atlanta did EVERY SINGLE THING WRONG that they possibly could have to lose the game. Matt Ryan was strip sacked (WTF, you’re up huge, why are you even passing). Atlanta was in field goal range (They don’t run the ball, get called for penalties and get out of field goal range). Their idiotic play calling lost them the game in the 4th. The Patriots were dead in the water and trailing 99% of the game until the end. I’ll never be a Pats fan. I’ll always bleed green and gold, and depending on the opponent, I’ll maybe cheer for the other team. But god damnit, after seeing Brady and them celebrate winning and witnessing this legendary comeback, I’ll never hate/cheer against Tom Brady like I used to. I used to hate him for winning, but now I can appreciate that I am witnessing greatness. Whether it’s at the QB position or at the team level will always be debated, but we’re witnessing it. I was rooting for Atlanta and I ended up watching the whole post game, sort of smiling because I just watched something amazing.
