Now, if a 1-on-1 interaction happened in a room with the entire party Juneteenth Freedom Day shirt , then yes, I’d post the conversation for the group to read. Also, in one instance I had an NPC who followed the party for a time temporarily leave to handle some things on her own – when she returned, she shared the story of what she experienced while she was gone. It would’ve taken far too long for me to share it in person, so I posted it in the group chat for the party to read at their leisure. Even if they didn’t read it, if they came across something that was referenced in her story, I could say “You’d remember from [NPC]’s story that this thing is [fill in the blank]”

Best Juneteenth Freedom Day shirt
Hey, I’ve been DMing for about six years now, but I started similarly to you although I had a bit more Juneteenth Freedom Day shirt with other roleplaying game systems, that was all the way back during the fourth edition (which we quickly abandoned). This post is really great, a lot of stuff I definitely agree with and have noticed over my time running, and a few things that were good advice even for experience gm’s. I wanted to mention that the “build around the players” advice is probably the single best piece of advice you can give new GM’s. So many people I know have wanted to run games, but their campaigns died before they got past the planning phase. I also had a map in the very first campaign I ran, and it was a huge mistake to give players permanent access to it, one of the most frustrating things that happened regularly was I would describe the group coming across something, and the players would complain about it not being on the map.
