After fireworks, I panicked due to the crowds trying to exit the park. As my mother pushed through the crowd, I shut down. I found a corner and sat down trembling. My mother started yelling at me to get over it and act like an adult. As far as I am concerned, I was acting like a high functioning, autistic adult with crowd anxiety. I will not take medication to curb this issue. I do pretty well, most days. I am going to forward this to my mother.
